Job summary

Quantum Sky seeks a Principal Solutions Architect to drive the technical execution of Post-Quantum Cryptography offerings. This role bridges strategy and delivery—translating customer requirements and roadmaps into actionable backlogs, driving proposals and product demos, and advising customers on cryptographic transition and migration planning.

You will help build PQC migration roadmaps tailored to environments and risk tolerance and collaborate with Federal partners to influence PQC strategy

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Cryptography, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years in federal cybersecurity, including NSA/NIST pilots.
• 5+ years in encryption/secure systems engineering, PKI, and key management; 2–3 years PQC migration.
• Working knowledge of NIST PQC algorithms and key material flows.
• Ability to communicate cryptographic concepts to engineers and executives.
• Experience curating partners for inventorying and distributed key management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director to guide development teams in PQC offerings.
• Translate requirements into epics, stories, and a prioritized backlog.
• Provide technical oversight to align with PQC standards.
• Contribute technical and market insight to PQC strategy and roadmap.
• Contribute solution architecture for BAAs, RFIs, and RFPs.
• Guide customers through PQC transition and migration planning.
• Assess and communicate cryptographic risk.
• Advise on prioritization frameworks for migration.
