Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services in Northern Virginia seeks a Senior Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) / Cryptography Architect with TS/SCI clearance to lead architecture for identifying quantum-vulnerable cryptography and CBOMs across enterprise systems.

You will translate cryptographic findings into prioritized migration plans, work with PKI, TLS, and libraries, and communicate with Federal stakeholders to build practical, risk-based PQC strategies.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Significant experience in cryptography and cybersecurity architecture.
• Strong understanding of RSA, ECC, TLS, PKI, and digital signatures.

Responsibilities

• Lead cryptographic discovery, inventory, assessment, and migration architecture across federal environments.
• Develop and maintain cryptographic inventories and CBOMs including algorithms, certificates, keys, and libraries.
• Identify quantum-vulnerable components within applications and data flows; evaluate migration options.
• Evaluate evidence from code, binaries, config files, networks, PKI, KMS/HSM and cloud services.
• Develop PQC migration roadmaps prioritized by risk and mission impact.
• Design target-state PQC and hybrid architectures using NIST standards.
• Produce architecture diagrams, risk assessments and implementation guidance.
• Collaborate with owners, security teams, and vendors to validate findings and plan migrations.
• Support proofs of concept and migration execution where needed.
