Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of power electronics design and development experience.
• Experience with AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC conversion from 100 to 30 kW and 3.3 to 600 VDC.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-461/464 and military power specs is a plus.
• Ability to lead design teams and interface with subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Power Systems Subject Matter Expert.
• Review customer specifications and requirements, develop concepts and designs with cost and schedule as key variables.
• Lead internal design teams and be the primary technical interface to other subsidiaries.
• Design, develop, analyze, document, select and support testing of products and subsystems focusing on power electronics and power generation equipment.
• Specify and evaluate supplier components, sub-systems, proposals and services; prepare SOWs and system requirements documents.
• Drive program technical performance, design to cost, schedule and DFM requirements.
• Develop prototypes to retire key development risks.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and the customer.
• Provide technical knowledge and mentoring to other engineers.
