Job summary

Actalent seeks an Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Systems to serve as a technical lead across power electronics concepts and system-level designs. You will interface with subsidiaries and internal teams to translate customer requirements into robust, cost-aware solutions with strong testing support.

Asset focus includes mixed-signal power conversion, 100–30 kW systems, and EMI/EMC validation, with emphasis on documentation and ICDs.

Qualifications

• Expertise in power electronics and power generation equipment design.

Responsibilities

• Lead power systems design teams and provide technical leadership across projects.
• Translate customer specs into concepts and designs balancing performance, cost, and schedule.
• Develop and maintain ICDs to define electrical interfaces between systems.
• Oversee EMI/EMC testing and implement design changes to meet specs.
• Design power conversion hardware from 100 to 30 kW, 3.3–600 VDC and 120/208 VAC.
