Job summary

SOC LLC is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer, Power Systems SME, for a full-time Direct Hire in Bridgeton, MO. The role focuses on power electronics and generation equipment, with responsibility to lead design teams and interface with subsidiaries.

The candidate should have extensive power electronics experience (AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC up to 30 kW) and familiarity with MIL specs; an active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Power Systems Subject Matter Expert.
• Lead internal design teams and act as primary technical interface to subsidiaries.
• Design, develop, analyze, document, select and support testing of power electronics and power generation equipment.
• Review customer specifications and develop concepts with cost and schedule as key variables.
• Prepare SOWs and component/system requirements documents.
• Mentor and coach other engineers.
