Backblaze is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Security team, driving enterprise program delivery and portfolio management across multiple initiatives. You will coordinate engineering, product, legal, and vendors, maintain detailed plans and dashboards, manage risks, and support incident responses with a lean, value-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of technical program management experience.
• Strong understanding of program management methodologies.
• Ability to adapt agile management principles to various development environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex, cross-functional programs in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of enterprise programs from initiation through delivery.
• Communicate technical concepts and program status clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple initiatives.
• Identify, track, and mitigate program risks and dependencies; escalate blockers with options and recommendations.
• Drive cross-functional coordination between engineering, product, legal, and vendors to ensure security controls are on schedule.
• Establish and report on program goals, dashboards, and status updates for executives and boards.
