Job summary

Slate is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own how AI-powered personalization guides every customer journey, from initial visit through vehicle design, purchase, and ongoing accessorizing.

You will define principles for AI-guided shopping, own the end-to-end design spanning vehicle design, virtual garage, discovery, and cart, and tailor experiences to individual customers while maintaining broad applicability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience leading ambiguous initiatives.
• Direct experience with personalization or AI/LLM-powered product experiences.
• End-to-end customer experience ownership across multiple teams.
• Strong, structured writing (PR/FAQ style).
• Rigorous, pragmatic experimentation and metrics.
• Ability to align cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for AI-powered personalization across the customer journey.
• Define principles for AI-guided shopping that learn from signals.
• Own end-to-end design and shopping experience across vehicle design, garage, discovery, cart.
• Build discovery features surfacing designs customers hadn't considered.
• Partner with Sales, Growth, Brand, and Customer Service to prioritize moments across the lifecycle.
• Set strategy for consistent personalization across channels.
• Lead an experimentation program with hypotheses and guardrails.
• Mentor other PMs on personalization and experimentation.
