Amazon is seeking a Principal AI Creative Director to shape AI-powered creative experiences and define a scalable, teachable standard for how great creative looks and behaves across images, video, and copy.

You will lead systemized creative primitives, drive hands-on prototyping, and partner across design, engineering, science, and product leadership to ensure brand coherence at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of creative direction experience with a strong portfolio.
• 2+ years hands-on work in AI content creation across image, video, copy.
• Ability to produce finished creative content independently using AI tools.
• Deep understanding of narrative structure, color theory, and brand signal.

Responsibilities

• Define the creative quality bar for AI-generated assets across POD's portfolio.
• Decompose great creative into primitives and translate into teachable frameworks.
• Produce high-quality creative content across modalities with AI tools.
• Partner with design, product, and eng to define new AI-powered experiences.
• Lead aesthetic governance with metrics, thresholds, and brand safety standards.
• Influence cross-functional teams and align with engineering and data science.
