Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems LLC is seeking a Principal Product Manager for its AI Infrastructure networking team to own the long‑term architecture and strategy for fleet‑wide connectivity and fabric design.

You will partner with Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Software, and Architecture to translate workload and customer requirements into scalable networking foundations, guiding vendor strategy and technology direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of technical product management or product-minded infra engineering with architecture-level scope.
• Subject matter expertise in networking and ability to work with senior engineers.
• Direct experience with fleet-wide network architecture, topology design and failure-domain strategy at scale.
• Experience managing long-term vendor strategy and vetting software investments for core networking.
• Strong grasp of infrastructure economics including cost per unit and capacity planning.
• Analytical mindset using data to inform multi-year infrastructure decisions.
• Exceptional communication translating tradeoffs for engineering leadership and executives.
• Direct experience with RDMA fabrics such as InfiniBand or RoCE and GPU cluster networking.

Responsibilities

• Define the 2-4 year vision and roadmap for Crusoe's networking foundation, from fleet-wide architecture to fabric design.
• Own Crusoe's long-term vendor management strategy for the network, including cost structure and capital allocation.
• Set performance, reliability, scalability, and cost targets for the network.
• Own cross-DC connectivity strategy, network topology, and failure-domain design.
• Drive NIC, DPU, switch, and networking technology strategy and evaluate new hardware/vendors.
• Identify structural limitations and prioritize long-term investments.
• Partner with Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture on major tradeoffs and business rationale.
• Represent networking foundations in leadership reviews with clear decision docs.
