AbsenceSoft is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own a core product area from strategy through outcomes. This senior IC role emphasizes hands-on product work with a path to build and lead a team as the area grows, reporting to the Chief Product Officer.

You will partner with engineering and design, ship AI-enabled products, measure outcomes, and translate customer insights into product decisions. The role requires a decade in product management, strong data fluency, and a track record of

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management owning a product line end to end.
• Track record of setting clear product direction and delivering complex products on time.
• Strong data fluency to instrument products and own results.
• Shipping AI/LLM-powered products and translating data assets into value.
• Enterprise B2B SaaS experience with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
• HR tech domain experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and roadmap for the product area and tie to business goals.
• Lead hands-on product work including discovery, specs, and decisions.
• Deliver on deadlines with engineering to maintain quality.
• Instrument shipped products, track metrics, and own post-launch outcomes.
• Translate customer insights into product decisions and prioritize accordingly.
• Maintain intuitive UX in partnership with design.
• Develop GTM narrative and enablement materials for Sales and Marketing.
• Build cross-functional relationships and communicate with executives.
• Present strategy, roadmap updates, and performance insights to leadership.
• Assist in maintaining security and compliance within the department.
