Job summary

Zillow Group is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Platform Engineering to shape the platform that underpins hundreds of services. You will define golden paths, drive adoption, and build a value model linking platform capabilities to business outcomes.

Partner with Data Platform, Developer Experience, and Security teams, lead six engineering teams, and translate customer problems into measurable product initiatives. This remote role offers equity awards and a market-based base salary.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, including platforms or developer tools used by multiple teams.
• Experience defining product strategy and roadmaps for infrastructure or internal platforms.
• Strong collaboration with engineering leadership and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Own platform strategy across Platform Engineering portfolio and define golden paths.
• Drive adoption and migration outcomes across teams through defaults and enablement.
• Define how applications and AI agents consume platform capabilities and self-service paths.
• Establish how platform success is measured and build the value model of capabilities.
