Job summary

Oracle's Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is hiring a Principal Software Development Engineer to define and drive the technical direction for deployment capabilities across the OCI Developer Platform.

You will align teams around durable platform primitives, remove barriers to velocity, and establish foundations for agentic engineering at cloud scale, ensuring safety and reliability across services.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software development experience with distributed systems or developer tools.
Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, C#, Python, or similar.
Experience designing APIs, data models, and scalable service architectures.
Solid understanding of cloud-native concepts: containers, orchestration, CI/CD, automation.
Demonstrated leadership: strategy, stakeholder alignment, ownership in production.
Excellent written and verbal communication to influence decisions.
