Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer - Integrations to lead the design, development, and operation of the firm's AI agent integration framework within the APG platform. This role focuses on scalable, secure, standardized integration of third‑party AI agents while protecting enterprise data and ensuring production readiness.

The candidate will collaborate across architecture, data platform, procurement, and vendor teams, bringing deep platform engineering and observability

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field is required.
10+ years of platform engineering or systems integration experience.
Experience with event-driven architectures, APIs, and distributed systems.
Proficiency in Python and TypeScript with production-grade code experience.
Ability to define integration standards and ensure vendor interoperability.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable integration frameworks with event-driven interfaces.
Define and enforce vendor integration standards for interoperability, security and portability.
Develop data ingestion and telemetry pipelines into the platform with monitoring capabilities.
Ensure secure integration with identity management, entitlements, and access controls.
