Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer—Integrations to lead the design, development, and operation of the firm’s AI agent integration framework within the APG platform. This role focuses on scalable, secure, standardized integrations connecting third-party AI agents to the firm’s ecosystem while preserving data ownership and provenance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years in platform engineering or software engineering with production-scale systems.
Experience designing event-driven integrations (pub/sub, webhooks, APIs) across platforms.
Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript with production-quality code.
Experience creating vendor-facing specs and enforcing integration standards.
Knowledge of API design, MCP, and agent interoperability technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable integration frameworks (events, pub/sub, webhooks, APIs, MCP endpoints).
Define and enforce vendor integration standards and specifications.
Translate technical standards into contractual commitments with data ownership and portability terms.
Develop data ingestion and telemetry pipelines for decision traces and lineage.
Ensure secure integration with identity management and access controls.
Collaborate with architecture, data platform, procurement, and vendor teams.
