Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer — Integrations to lead the design, development, and operation of the firm’s AI agent integration framework within the APG platform. This role establishes scalable, secure, standardized integration capabilities connecting third-party AI agents to the firm’s technology ecosystem while protecting enterprise data, decision history, and learning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years in platform engineering, systems integration, or related software engineering disciplines.
Experience designing, building, operating event-driven integration architectures including publish/subscribe, webhooks, APIs.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable integration frameworks including event-driven architectures, APIs, and MCP endpoints.
Establish vendor integration standards and acceptance criteria for interoperability, security, portability, and performance.
Develop data ingestion and telemetry pipelines to capture decision traces and activity data for the data platform.
Ensure secure integration with identity management and access controls.
Collaborate with architecture, data platform, procurement, and vendor teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
