Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to own high-stakes payments migrations for QuickBooks Payments and Invoicing. You will lead discovery, migration design, execution, cutover, and tooling with strategic customers and partners.

This role requires deep payments expertise, direct experience migrating data from Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Square, or Adyen, and the ability to architect multi-entity payment structures. Travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Deep payments and fintech expertise with hands-on API experience.
• Experience migrating payments to/from Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Square or Adyen.
• Knowledge of multi-entity payment structures and token migration.
• Understanding refunds, chargebacks, and cash-flow implications.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with strategic customers migrating payments to Intuit from discovery to stabilization.
• Design and execute migration plans for payment data, stored methods, tokens, and history.
• Lead partners embedding QB Payments and QB Invoicing into their products.
• Architect multi-entity payment structures and complex reconciliations.
• Craft reusable migration tooling and playbooks to speed future migrations.
• Act as escalation point for edge cases in production and travel as needed.
