Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Principal Engineer for Forward Deploy to be the technical throughline across Enterprise Accountant Suite, Product Engineering, and FDE teams. You will define reusable architecture patterns, guardrails, and ensure production readiness while unblocking the hardest customer problems on high-impact engagements.

You will travel up to 30-40% and partner with CFO-facing stakeholders to defend ROI and align field work with the core platform roadmap.

Qualifications

• Senior hands-on engineering with leadership experience in embedded or field roles.
• Experience architecting AI-driven systems and setting standards across multiple engagements.
• Proven ability to defend ROI and communicate with CFOs and economic buyers.
• Strong experience reviewing production readiness and security/compliance sign-offs.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical standards every FDE engagement builds against.
• Own the technical review bar for production-ready deployments and compliance sign-off.
• Partner with Enterprise Accountant Suite leadership to align field work with the platform roadmap.
• Be the technical escalation point for the hardest customer problems and review live escalations.
