Capital One is seeking a Principal Payment Tech Development Manager to lead end-to-end design, development, testing, certification, and delivery of contact and mobile payment technologies. The Principal Payment Tech Development Manager will lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, certification, and delivery of contact/contactless chip technologies, mobile payments, and other emerging payment devices. A critical focus of this role includes leading the development of card- and wallet-related functional and security requirements, consult on test plans, and test tools necessary for executing D-PAS card personalization and Mobile D-PAS Wallet validations—both of which are vital prerequisites for successful D-PAS product acceptance. The Manager will act as a key technical contributor to product specifications (functional and security features), manage strategic vendor relationships, and proactively mitigate risks or customer-impacting issues.
