Job summary

dss+ is a global operations management consulting firm focused on safety, operational performance and sustainability for the Oil & Gas sector. As a Principal in our Oil & Gas team, you will lead senior client relationships, grow strategic accounts, and close major engagements from the boardroom to the plant floor.

You will build trusted C-suite relationships, shape and price large consulting engagements, and drive multi-year transformations across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in management consulting or senior Oil & Gas leadership.
• Partner/Director level experience or equivalent P&L leadership.
• Proven success selling and leading engagements with annual targets.
• Established C-suite and senior operations network within upstream, midstream, and/or downstream Oil & Gas.
• Experience leading large-scale safety, operational excellence, and performance transformations with measurable results.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel 80%+.

• Shape, price, and close large consulting engagements.
• Turn initial engagements into broader, multi-year client relationships.

Job Requirements

What You Bring

• 15+ years of experience in management consulting and/or senior Oil & Gas leadership.
• Partner, Director, or equivalent consulting experience and/or significant P&L or Oil & Gas operational leadership experience.
• Proven success personally selling and leading consulting engagements, with annual sales targets.
• An established C-suite and senior operations network within upstream, midstream, and/or downstream Oil & Gas.
• Experience leading large-scale safety, operational excellence, and performance transformations with measurable results.
• Turnaround, restructuring, and/or M&A integration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Operational Excellence, Lean/Six Sigma, safety management systems, and large-scale change.
• Strong executive presence with credibility in both the boardroom and on the plant floor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel 80%+.
