Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Power Uprate Civil Engineer to guide complex projects and mentor staff in advancing nuclear energy solutions.

You will lead design initiatives, evaluate modifications, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance across multiple sites. This role offers remote work consideration and requires 10+ years of civil/structural experience and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil and/or structural engineering.
• 10+ years of civil/structural design experience in nuclear or power generation.
• Experience evaluating structural impacts of major equipment upgrades and power uprates.
• Experience with concrete, steel, seismic and structural analysis.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and evaluate critical structures for nuclear facilities.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications.
• Collaborate across disciplines to integrate designs.
• Travel for site walkdowns and field installations.
• Lead by example and mentor junior staff.
