Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Power Uprate Civil Engineer to lead critical nuclear power uprate projects across the country. This leadership role focuses on guiding complex design efforts, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring safe, compliant implementation at nuclear facilities.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform analyses, prepare reports, and travel as needed to client sites to verify field conditions and start-ups. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of civil/structural design experience in nuclear or power generation.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills; ability to lead teams and mentor engineers.
• US Citizenship required.
• Approximate travel of 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
• Lead design initiatives and craft project scopes.
• Evaluate proposed modifications and prepare technical reports.
• Communicate findings to project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Travel to sites for field walkdowns and start-ups as needed.
