Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Power Uprate Civil Engineer to lead and coach teams delivering nuclear facility uprates across the United States. You will guide complex structural design, assess impacts of major upgrades, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing technical reports and estimates, and traveling to project sites as needed to deliver high-integrity engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in civil/structural design, preferably in nuclear or power generation.
• Experience evaluating structural impacts of major equipment upgrades and uprates.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Guide design and evaluation of critical structures for nuclear facilities.
• Lead cross-discipline teams and craft project scopes and estimates.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications, and travel as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure safety, regulatory compliance.
