Job summary

Hard Rock Digital is seeking a Principal Mobile Engineer to own the technical direction for mobile experiences within the Promos domain, leveraging the shared React Native platform and integrating related web and back-office work. The role blends hands-on coding with architectural leadership, guiding multi-team initiatives, delivering durable solutions, and mentoring engineers.

You will collaborate across product, data, backend, and security to raise the engineering bar and ship reliable

Qualifications

Ten+ years of software engineering experience with mobile platforms.
7+ years building production React Native applications.
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with real-time client systems and modern state management.
Experience architecting a shared mobile platform across apps/brands and regions.

Responsibilities

Technical strategy and architecture: own mobile direction for the product domain and align with shared RN platform.
Promotional capabilities: build promo experiences across mobile and web with reliable identity/consent handling.
Execution and quality: drive iterative delivery, strengthen testing, CI/CD, observability, and incident readiness.
AI enabled engineering: drive responsible AI-assisted development and guardrails for evaluation.
Organizational impact: mentor engineers, influence senior hiring and capability planning.
