Overview

We are working on behalf of a leading maker of RF ICs and MMICs leveraging GaAs and GaN technologies for Defense and Wireless markets. They are looking for a Principal MMIC Design Engineer who will report to a group in Milpitas, CA, but can be based remotely anywhere in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Perform MMIC design work, including power amplifiers (PA), low-noise amplifiers (LNA) and other microwave circuits.
• Contribute to GaAs and GaN technology development for Defense and Wireless applications.
• Apply circuit simulation (ADS or MW Office), EM simulation (HFSS) and testing skills as part of design verification.

Qualifications

• BSEE; preferably an advanced degree.
• 8-15+ years of MMIC design experience, including PA, LNA and other circuits.
• Experience designing in GaAs and GaN.
• Strong proficiency with circuit simulation (ADS or MW Office), EM simulation (HFSS) and testing skills.
