Job summary

RTX is seeking a test engineering professional to join our U.S.-based team focused on improving test yields, throughput, and overall product quality. You will analyze test data, identify failure trends, and implement corrective actions while supporting technicians to resolve complex issues rapidly.

Expect hands-on work with test equipment, scripts, and state-of-the-art test solutions. You will contribute to cost reductions, capacity planning, and process improvements across multiple assembly

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with extensive relevant experience.
• Lean manufacturing experience and experience with equipment and factory layouts.
• Ability to read schematics and perform root cause analysis.
• Experience with Test Stand and TDMS, and SQL Server.
• Practical knowledge of test solutions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-functional efforts to improve test yields, throughput, capacity and product quality.
• Identify test failure trends and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement corrective actions and prepare failure analysis reports.
• Study performance of test equipment and reduce downtime with programs and solutions.
• Support technicians and resolve complex test failures quickly.
• Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly steps.
• Develop tools to enable manufacturing and increase production rates.
• Lead Production Readiness Reviews for new designs.
