Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Gilbert, AZ, seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Principal Engineer (Level 2/3) to join our I&T team. You will contribute to integration and test activities for space vehicle systems, oversee mechanical build and production operations, and develop test procedures for flight hardware.

Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree with 2–5 years of related experience and an active Top Secret clearance, with strong familiarity in aerospace systems and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 2 years of related experience OR Master’s Degree with 0 years of experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required at time of application and ability to obtain SCI/SAP clearances.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties contributing to Integration & Test activities for space vehicle systems and hardware.
• Coordinate and oversee mechanical build and production operations by technical staff.
• Develop test procedures and support hardware designs in compliance with requirements.
