DriSteem Corporation is seeking a Principal Engineer – Mechanical to provide technical leadership for complex mechanical and multidisciplinary projects in Minneapolis, MN. The role drives new product development, continuation engineering, and design-for-manufacturability initiatives across product families.

You will mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and ensure performance, safety, and regulatory compliance while balancing cost and time targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of directly relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong new product development and continuation engineering background.
• Deep understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with electrical power and controls systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and PLM software

Responsabilidades

• Lead VA/VE activities to optimize cost, performance, reliability and manufacturability.
• Provide technical leadership across projects, product families, and the organization.
• Lead design reviews and oversee architecture, analysis, and validation strategies.
• Drive new product development from concept to production.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and compliance
