DriSteem Corporation seeks a Principal Mechanical Engineer to provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams and product families. The role focuses on driving new product development, continuation engineering, and innovative design directions with a strong emphasis on DFMA and cost optimization.

You will lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver robust, reliable products.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of directly relevant experience in mechanical engineering and product development.
• Strong background in NPD, continuation engineering, and leading design reviews.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and PLM software; experience with DFMA.
• Experience with value analysis/engineering and cost-reduction initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for mechanical and multidisciplinary engineering challenges across programs.
• Lead design reviews and oversee critical product architecture, analysis methods, and validation strategies.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices across the organization.
• Drive design-to-cost goals balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Develop detailed design specifications, 3D models, and drawings using CAD/PLM.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to align development with market needs.
