Job summary
Beehive Industries, LLC, located at our Knoxville, Tennessee facility, seeks a Principal Additive Process Engineer to lead Metal Binder Jet technology development, metallurgy, and production scale-up. You will guide process strategies, standards, and cross-functional teams to achieve reliable, high-performance MBJ operations.
The role requires deep expertise in MBJ/CBJ systems, powder metallurgy, and stringent manufacturing environments, with security clearance and U.S.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
- 12+ years in additive manufacturing, MBJ/CBJ process development or metallurgy.
- Experience scaling MBJ/CBJ processes for production applications.
- Demonstrated technical leadership on complex programs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical authority for MBJ additive manufacturing processes and materials development.
- Define strategies and roadmaps for additive capabilities and production scalability.
- Establish and improve manufacturing standards, specs, and documentation.
- Lead development of production-ready MBJ processes including qualification and validation.
- Mentor engineers and guide cross-functional teams on additive manufacturing initiatives.
- Represent MBJ expertise in technical reviews with leadership, customers, and suppliers.
