Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in California seeks a Principal or Senior Principal Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing Technology & Innovation team in Palmdale or El Segundo. You will help define, develop, implement, and transition advanced manufacturing technology solutions.

These solutions support composites fabrication, automation, inspection, direct part manufacturing, and digital manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with IPTs, stakeholders, and customers (Air Force/Navy).
• Strong project management, budgeting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, implement, and transition advanced manufacturing tech.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide guidance on design concepts and TRL/MRL maturity.
• Interface with customers, program offices, and leadership.
• Ensure cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
