Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to improve test yields, throughput, capacity, and product quality by analyzing failures and identifying root causes. You will support technicians with complex troubleshooting and help plan capacity and capital equipment decisions.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years, and U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are required.
• Preferred qualifications include lean manufacturing, SQL Server, TestStand, TDMS, schematic reading, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Improve test yields, throughput, capacity, and product quality by analyzing failures and identifying root causes.
• Implement corrective actions and support technicians with complex troubleshooting.
• Maintain and improve test equipment, fixtures, processes, documentation, and factory layouts.
• Plan capacity and select capital equipment.
