Job description

This position is responsible for performing various equipment maintenance and repair activities on a wide spectrum of machines. This is a key position for maintenance and manufacturing equipment installations and operation resolutions. It has an impact on the ability of manufacturing to meet its production schedules.

Major Areas of Accountability

• Ensure that all assigned production equipment is maintained at peak operating effectiveness with minimum downtime (within established budgets/costs)
• Support weekday shift operations, as well as weekend shift operations as needed.
• Co-ordinate maintenance with area lead according to production build plans
• Make recommendations and participate in process and equipment changes/improvements
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) during equipment malfunctions.
• Provide project support for area lead and engineers
• Coordinate tooling and equipment repair with supplier(s), as needed
• Train other personnel on trouble shooting and minor machine repairs
• Maintain supply of spare parts for corrective maintenance activities
• Communicate/perform effective handoffs with off-going and on-coming maintenance techs and teams
• Identify quality issues that need further investigation and disposition
• Follow all relevant safety regulations and promote a positive safety culture
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required, AA or two-year technical degree in relevant discipline preferred.
• 10+ of maintenance experience with an AA or two-year technical degree or 15+ years of maintenance experience without an AA or two-year technical degree

• Competitive Compensation: The starting hourly rate for this position is $30.00/hour. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation for applicable experience and may also be eligible for bonuses and/or incentives. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
