Job summary

Honeywell Technologies seeks a Maintenance Principal Engineer to lead Mechanical Integrity and Maintenance Excellence across global sites, developing standards and governance for inspection, testing, maintenance, and lifecycle management.

You will collaborate with site engineering, maintenance, operations, process safety, and business teams to translate requirements into practical execution and drive asset reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in engineering, maintenance, reliability, inspection, or mechanical integrity in chemical, petrochemical, refining, energy, manufacturing, or similar.
• Experience with fixed equipment and piping MI, maintenance engineering, or inspection programs.
• Working knowledge of API, ASME, NBIC and related inspection/repair practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Mechanical Integrity and Maintenance Excellence programs across critical assets.
• Develop, maintain, and deploy standards, procedures, workflows, and governance for inspection, testing, maintenance, and asset lifecycle.
• Guide risk-based inspection, corrosion and damage mechanism reviews, fitness-for-service evaluations, and inspection interval decisions.
• Support Process Safety Management and compliance by identifying critical equipment and documenting inspection, test, and maintenance activities.
• Lead or support failure investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Advance maintenance excellence practices including work management, preventive and predictive maintenance, and contractor management.
