Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Maintenance Principal Engineer to lead Mechanical Integrity and Maintenance Excellence across a global network. You will guide inspection programs, foster reliability, and drive lifecycle performance for fixed and rotating equipment.

This hybrid role spans Houston, TX; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Mobile, AL; or Shreveport, LA with on-site focus for the initial period. You will collaborate with site engineering, operations, and safety teams to translate standards into

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years in engineering, maintenance, reliability, or mechanical integrity in process industries.
• Experience with fixed equipment and piping mechanical integrity programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Mechanical Integrity and Maintenance Excellence programs.
• Develop and deploy engineering standards, procedures, and governance.
• Guide risk-based inspection, corrosion and damage mechanism reviews.
• Support Process Safety Management and mechanical integrity compliance.
• Lead or support equipment failure investigations and corrective actions.
• Advance maintenance excellence practices including work management and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Collaborate with site teams to assess program maturity and track improvements.
• Provide SME for codes and standards including API, ASME, NBIC.
