Job summary

Honeywell Technologies seeks a Maintenance Engineer Principal to lead Mechanical Integrity and Maintenance Excellence across sites. You will guide inspection programs, reliability strategies, and governance to improve equipment safety and lifecycle cost.

You will collaborate with site engineers, operations, and safety teams, mentoring staff and driving continuous improvement. This hybrid role is based from Houston with multiple U.S. sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in engineering, maintenance, reliability, inspection, or mechanical integrity in process industries.
• Experience with fixed equipment and piping integrity, maintenance engineering, and reliability programs.
• Working knowledge of API/ASME/NBIC standards and inspection practices.
• Experience in Process Safety Management environments and applying mechanical integrity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Mechanical Integrity and Maintenance Excellence programs.
• Develop and deploy standards, workflows, and governance for inspection and maintenance.
• Lead risk-based inspection, corrosion reviews, and fitness-for-service evaluations.
• Support process safety compliance and maintenance activities across sites.
• Coach engineers and maintain documentation and training to raise capability.
