Job summary

Regeneron is hiring a Principal IT Lab Integration Developer (Senior or Principal) in Troy, NY. You will design, develop, validate, and support integrations between laboratory systems, instruments, and data platforms within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

You will translate QC processes into orchestrated digital workflows, ensure data integrity per GxP and 21 CFR Part 11, and collaborate across QC, R&D, Manufacturing, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Senior: 5+ years of relevant experience; Principal: 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience connecting laboratory instruments to central platforms (LIMS/ELNs) to automate data capture.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and middleware tools used to bridge communication between orchestration engines and lab hardware.
• Proficiency in Python or VBA for custom workflows and data parsing.
• Strong data governance understanding to ensure accurate data delivery across systems.
• Experience with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 in regulated pharma/biotech environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrations between lab instruments and Orchestration Layer.
• Build and support API-based, file-based, and message-based integrations (REST, SOAP, SFTP, JSON, XML).
• Define integration patterns and workflow coordination across instruments and middleware.
• Ensure GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance; participate in Computer System Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Monitor production integrations and provide Level 2/3 support for QC Lab Systems.
• Collaborate with QC, QA, IT, and external vendors to align solutions with business needs.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections; promote scalability and performance.
