Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in education from a regionally accredited college or university required.
• Doctoral Degree in related field of education from a regionally accredited college or university preferred.
• Three (3) years relevant experience as a school-based administrator required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of all school personnel; report and monitor employees not meeting contractual requirements.
• Define the school's mission and communicate goals of the total school program.
• Provide instructional leadership for alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment through observation and evaluation of teachers.
• Create and monitor a monthly meeting calendar for faculty collaboration and school culture focused on rigor and learning.
• Coordinate the instructional program with central office staff; supervise the instructional program of the school.
• Lead continuous school improvement and develop SIP aligned to district plan and state growth measures.
• Monitor and assess student achievement using technology and data sources.
• Engage community stakeholders in shared responsibility for student learning.
• Develop and implement school-wide supervision plans to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
