Job summary

Early Warning Services, LLC seeks a Principal Software Engineer - Infrastructure Automation to lead architecture and engineering of the infrastructure-as-code platform used to provision infrastructure across Early Warning. The role owns Terraform, Ansible, policy-as-code guardrails, and shared modules consumed by engineering teams.

This hands-on position defines enterprise standards, drives secure, maintainable platform capabilities, and partners with CI/CD, Security, and observability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of enterprise software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define target infrastructure automation solution and execution path.
• Set enterprise strategy and reference architecture for automation.
• Establish engineering standards for modules, tooling, testing, release.
• Own Terraform as the enterprise default across cloud and on-prem.
• Define Terraform modules for AWS services with secure defaults.
• Establish policy-as-code and Rego libraries for governance.
