Job summary

Early Warning Services, LLC is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Infrastructure Automation in a hybrid role across major U.S. cities. You will design and build infrastructure-as-code tooling, including Terraform modules and Ansible capabilities, to provision secure, auditable platforms.

You will collaborate with Cloud, Platform, Security, and CI/CD teams to drive scalable, policy-driven infrastructure changes and enable secure, reliable deployments across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in software/cloud/platform engineering, DevOps, or related field.
• Strong design and problem-solving skills for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible at scale, including modules/collections.
• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, IAM, networking, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve infrastructure-as-code capabilities for provisioning across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead module development, testing, and governance for Terraform and Ansible tooling.
• Develop policy-as-code and guardrails for infrastructure changes.
• Collaborate with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to map controls to requirements.
• Drive adoption of Terraform and automated validation across teams.
