Ladders is seeking a Principal Information Systems Project Manager to lead complex IT programs for a leader in Aerospace & Defense. You will drive integrated project execution, align resources, and ensure delivery against schedule, budget, and technical requirements.

This remote role is US-based, requiring strong leadership across cross-functional teams, stakeholder engagement, and disciplined PM practices in a fast-paced environment.

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Information Systems Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will lead complex information systems initiatives that support highly visible operational objectives across multiple functional areas. The position will be responsible for driving integrated project execution, aligning resources, and ensuring successful delivery against schedule, budget, and technical requirements. The work will require close partnership with stakeholders and technical teams to resolve issues, support change, and bring disciplined project management practices to a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $103,600 - $155,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Engage as a team member for high-visibility resource management tools
• Prepare integrated project execution plans and identify necessary resources
• Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and technical requirements
• Guide project teams using IT and project management principles
• Stay updated on IT advancements and incorporate best practices into projects
• Develop solutions independently, managing project-level decisions
• Coordinate delivery of information systems, ensuring integration of all activities
• Interface with stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues
• Implement business readiness and change-management plans

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3+ years with a Master's degree; 1 year with a PhD; or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Proven leadership in IT projects spanning multiple functional areas
• Ability to work independently and determine effective solutions under general direction
• Strong communication skills with experience engaging leadership and cross-functional teams
