Job summary

GLOBAL Recruitment Solutions LLC is seeking a Principal Power Electronics Engineer for onsite leadership in Menasha, WI. You will drive the development of high‑voltage power conversion technologies for microgrids, EV charging, and data center power systems, defining architectures and roadmaps.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with suppliers and academic partners, and translate complex design challenges into scalable, reliable solutions across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience in power electronics design, development, testing, or related fields.
• Experience with high-voltage power converters/inverter technologies.
• Strong understanding of power electronics architectures and system integration.
• Experience with modeling/simulation and applying analytical results to design decisions.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and power electronics testing environments.
• Ability to develop technology strategies and roadmaps for power conversion and energy applications.
• Experience collaborating with external suppliers and technical partners.
• Proven ability to provide technical guidance across multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evaluation of advanced high-voltage power electronics technologies.
• Define electrical architectures and requirements for power conversion systems (DC/DC, DC/AC).
• Evaluate components and architectures for performance, size, cost, and reliability.
• Lead research and benchmarking of emerging technologies and semiconductor options (Si, SiC, GaN).
• Develop engineering documentation: architecture, requirements, specs, simulations.
