8+ years of engineering experience in power systems or energy technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead R&D on power electronics, DER, microgrids, and energy storage technologies.
Define and benchmark component requirements for performance, size, reliability and cost.
Support system architecture and technology selection for microgrids, energy storage, EV charging, and power distribution.
Collaborate with electrical, controls, mechanical, and simulation teams to establish design requirements and targets.
Lead tech assessments, feasibility studies, and prototype evaluations.
Partner with modeling and simulation teams to evaluate system performance and optimize designs.
Support verification and validation activities including design verification plans and reports (DVP&R).
Engage with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to evaluate emerging technologies and support product development initiatives.
Contribute to technology roadmaps and provide guidance across projects.
