Job summary

Vantor Inc. is seeking a Principal/Chief Engineer to lead HPC and private cloud delivery across multiple programs. You will oversee engineering and system administration staff through full lifecycles, including requirements analysis, architecture, integration, testing, and quality assurance.

The role demands ingenuity, strong leadership, and a broad view of hardware and software platforms. DoD/IC experience and an active TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain CI polygraph.
• 15+ years in computer science, systems development, product development, or system engineering.
• Experience leading a professional staff and strong leadership skills.
• Experience in the DoD / Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, coordination, and execution of engineering activities for hardware, platforms, and software development and deployment.
• Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
• Lead the development and maintenance of system documentation, diagrams, and models.
• Obtain solid understanding of hardware and software features to plan engineering requirements and roadmaps.
• Assist with resolution of technical issues impacting delivery and identify external dependencies.
• Keep abreast of cyber security trends, technologies, and threats.
• Coordinate initiatives with cross‑department management in line with program strategy and secure HPC.
• Manage/supervise professional staff and develop subordinate staff.
