Job summary

Vantor is hiring a Principal/Chief Engineer to lead the HPC solutions team. You will oversee engineering, system administration, and private cloud delivery across full program lifecycles, applying requirements analysis, architecture design, integration, testing, and quality assurance.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, DoD/IC experience, and strong leadership to coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph willingness.
• BS in Engineering or related field; 15+ years in CS/SE or related field.
• Experience leading a professional staff and strong leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to set short and long-term priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in DoD/Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership across hardware and software development lifecycles.
• Define processes for technical platforms, system specs, inputs/outputs and working parameters.
• Lead development and maintenance of system documentation and models.
• Obtain solid understanding of hardware/software features to plan roadmaps.
• Assist with resolution of delivery issues and dependencies.
• Stay abreast of cybersecurity threats and developments.
• Coordinate initiatives with cross-department management.
• Manage/supervise professional staff.
