Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principle Federal HPC Technical Consultant to lead complex HPC projects for government accounts. The role blends program management with high-end HPC architecture and systems engineering, requiring clear guidance to delivery teams and collaboration with customers to achieve mission success.

The position offers remote work with occasional travel, a TS/SCI with Poly clearance preference, and the ability to shape multi-region deployments across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3+ in HPC architecture, systems engineering, or large-scale infrastructure design.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 10 years experience in project management or in like roles/businesses.

Responsibilities

• Manages customer project delivery.
• Manages large complex HPC system delivery into multiple regions or global.
• Manages identifying and mitigating risks.
• Meets or exceeds program/project approved budgets.
• Provides reliable financial forecasts to HPE management.
• Identifies issues and develops mitigation plans to positively influence project outcomes.
• Interacts and develops client relationships in partnership with the greater HPE team.
• Manages complex multi-function and/ or global delivery relationships with senior and executive ('C' level) client management.
• Communicates the direct value our capabilities will provide to our business partners and customers.
• Manages project schedule and deliverable expectations.
• Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size greater than 40 people.
• Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members through others.
