Job summary

Bucknell University is seeking a Principal Gifts Engagement Officer to lead engagement programs for the university's highest-capacity donors. The role focuses on designing personalized donor experiences, coordinating with events teams, and aligning engagement with seven- to eight-figure fundraising opportunities.

You will report to the Director of Principal Gifts and work on-campus full-time, with occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in an advancement office, frontline development, or related field.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, including events and prospect activities, with high attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience working with senior leadership, donors and volunteers.
Demonstrated success working with high-level clients or donors.
Proficiency with technology such as databases, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategy, development, management, execution, and enhancement of principal donor engagement programs for Bucknell's highest-priority prospects and donors.
Design individualized engagement strategies and ICPs coordinating multi-year engagement with solicitation goals.
Partner with Stewardship and Donor Relations to shape stewardship strategies and monitor annual engagement metrics.
