Bucknell University is seeking talented Development Officers and Senior Development Officers to join the University Advancement team. These roles focus on building relationships with donors, traveling to engage alumni, parents, and friends, and driving leadership-level giving across multiple regions.

Positions require travel (~50%), 40 hours/week, and a collaborative, strategy-driven approach to fundraising in a complex university setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of successful experience in fundraising, sales, or related field
• Demonstrates practical application and experience with technology such as database functions/reports, and Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite
• Valid U.S. driver's license

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage high-value donor portfolios (principal $1M+ and major $100K+) to secure gifts
• Travel extensively to build and strengthen relationships with donors, alumni, parents, and friends
• Plan campus visits and experiences to prepare donors for leadership-level giving
• Maintain accurate donor and prospect records with contact reports, strategies, and next steps
• Staff large-scale campus events and coordinate visits for meaningful donor engagement
