Job summary

Bucknell University seeks a Principal Gifts Engagement Officer to lead engagement strategies for Bucknell’s highest-capacity prospects and donors. You will design and oversee innovative engagement programs, ensuring high-touch donor experiences that align with campaign priorities and seven- to eight-figure opportunities.

Reporting to the Director, Principal Gifts, you will develop ICPs, coordinate with events and campus partners, and ensure discreet, detailed execution across senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in an advancement office, frontline development, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, including events and prospect activities, with high attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience working with senior leadership, donors and volunteers.
• Demonstrated success working with colleagues across and at all levels of an organization.
• Evidence of creativity, high energy and innovative approaches to past work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, development, management, execution, and enhancement of principal donor engagement programs.
• Design individualized engagement plans coordinating multi-year strategies with solicitation goals.
• Deliver customized donor experiences including campus visits and interactions with university leadership.
