Qualifications

• Licensed Geotechnical Engineer in relevant state(s).
• Master's degree or PhD in geotechnical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 20 years of relevant industry experience (25+ preferred).
• Dedicated self-starter motivated to build a new consulting practice.
• Excellent technical, graphical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Project management including client development, project scoping, assembling and managing project teams, schedules and budgets, and client deliverables.
• Technical leadership applying sound engineering judgment and knowledge of codes, guidelines, and practices; SME across projects; client deliverables and reviews; field work training.
• Mentorship of staff and fostering knowledge sharing locally and company-wide.
• Contribute to growth by attracting and engaging clients and participating in industry organizations and training initiatives.
