Job summary

You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes while developing procedures for transmission projects and coordinating with operations to address maintenance needs. The role requires leadership in project and program management, budgeting, and providing engineering support to various operational areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
• 8 years of general construction knowledge in utility projects.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design facilities with costs for safe, cost-effective maintenance.
• Prepare, evaluate and award bid packages; monitor projects for cost control.
• Develop annual Capital Construction Budget for area of responsibility.
• Coordinate workload priorities, materials procurement, permits, and design implementation.
• Mentor engineering staff and provide support to operational areas.
